This apartment is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment situated in a prestigious alpine-styled chalet complex. Nestled in a quiet corner of Samoëns, and offering great views of the mountains surrounding the village, the apartment also benefits from a “residents only” indoor swimming pool which is open year-round.
Tranquil in its setting, the apartment accommodates 8-10 in 100m2 of space and comfort. Guests need only walk 1 minute to the free and regular ski bus stop and 5 minutes to the village with its' many shops and restaurants. Alternatively an easy 10 minute walk will take you to the Grand Massif Express Gondola, while our partner rental shops offer ski equipment storage at the top or bottom of the ski lift. The tourist office is 400m away, as is the ice rink and the creche. In the Chardons Argentés premises, guests can make use of private underground parking facilities, a communal bike store, personal ski storage as well as the landscaped gardens. This is a great summer option too, as the property is only 4-5 minutes walk to the stunning lake, adventure park, tennis, outdoor swimming pools and slide and so much more!
This is a ground floor apartment, offering immediate access from its two private terraces to the landscaped lawns and gardens. The spacious interior is stylish and modern, incorporating traditional Savoyard furnishings of an excellent standard which add to the alpine charm. The apartment is also an excellent choice for mobility restricted guests due to its design and additional special features (see description for more details) as well as able bodied guests.

As you enter the apartment you immediately have a sense of space and with its south facing aspect, there is light flooding in. This beautifully decorated space, with its quality tiled floor, gives a real sense of luxury. The open plan design of the dining, kitchen and living area makes for a spacious and very convivial environment. The dining area offers views of the mountains and pistes in the distance and comprises a large table with seating for ten.
The superbly equipped kitchen, with its extra large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as special items such as fondue and raclette set, allows for wheelchair access at both cooking and washing up areas. Storage cupboards are also provided at a lower level. The most luxurious mobility feature is the bathroom with its separate wet-room shower.
The living area provides ample seating on stylish couches as well as two beanbags, and is fully equipped with a large flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod docking station Wi-Fi and Wii. A selection of DVDs and Wii games are provided and a number of board games, playing cards and a good selection of reading materials add that ‘homely’ touch.
The wide corridors and open plan living design was specifically chosen by the owners to accommodate their daughter who uses a wheelchair. There are other clever mobility design features throughout the apartment, including a handrail fitted in the toilet. A bed guard can also be made available, as can a commode and wheel chair ramps.
This truly is the perfect option for family holidays or for a group of friends, the apartment provides everything needed to ensure you have a fabulous and memorable experience in Samoëns.

The apartment boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Just off the main living area is a spacious twin bedroom which can also be configured as a king with prior notice. Located by the apartment entrance is the bath/wet-room and separate toilet which is shared between this bedroom and a bunk room. The bunk room is situated down the corridor to the right of the apartment’s entrance and offers comfy full sized bunk-beds. There are two other lovely bedrooms off this corridor, both with ensuite shower and WC. Both can be made as a king or twin and one has its own access to the terrace. The ensuites are fitted with heated towel rails and cabinets providing you with ample storage space for all your toiletries. There is also room to unpack your things into the bedrooms, with large chests of drawers provided in each twin room, an under bed drawer in the bunkroom, shelves for smaller items in all rooms, and also hanging space on the numerous coat hooks. There is additional hanging space in the large cupboard in the entrance corridor. For flexible sleeping arrangements a sofa bed is also available for your use.
The apartment has two separate south facing decking areas – one off the dining area, and the second off the twin/king bedroom which adjoins the living room. The apartment’s ground floor location means the decks provide direct access to the landscaped lawn and gardens. We must not forget to mention again the fantastic indoor swimming pool, which is a rare find in Samoens, with an outside terrace for sunbathing. The swimming pool is located in the building opposite the apartment, is 6m x 12m, has changing facilities and a toilet and is open all year round. The apartment offers a private underground parking space, which is located right next to the lift directly up to the apartment so no need to venture outside!. There is also a ski locker and a communal bike store is available.
The Chardons Argentes residence is in an ideal location, offering guests absolute convenience but in a tranquil setting. Situated at the end of a quiet Samoëns street, Chardons MGM is the perfect year-round holiday destination.
The historic Samoëns village centre is only 400m away, or a flat, 5-minute walk. Here, you can enjoy the many shops, bars and restaurants, stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens, or simply admire the ancient buildings around the medieval town square.
The village tourist office is also 400m away. In the winter months the free and regular ski buses leave from just 50m away, taking you to the main Grand Massif Express lift and access to our impressive skiing domain in a matter of minutes. Samoëns’ newly built ice-skating rink is also a mere 400m stroll from the property.
In the summer, a short 400m walk will take you to the beautiful Bois Aux Dames lakes and leisure facilities. Make the most of the weather and enjoy the summer pool, tennis courts, golf driving range, horse riding, fishing and more. The Grand Massif Express lift is also open throughout July and August, allowing guests access to the ample walking trails, adventurous downhill mountain biking terrain, and not to mention stunning scenery of the mountains in summer.
A large supermarket is situated just a short 2-minute drive from Chardons MGM. Alternatively, you can walk to it in about 10-minutes.

The flat is well located, quiet, close to the village and the Lac aux Dames. The various bathrooms and toilets are appreciated, as well as the beds made on arrival. The swimming pool is large, pleasant and not very busy. We also appreciated the board games and books available.

I recently (April 2016) stayed in Chardons MGM apartment and couldn't recommend it more highly. The apartment was perfectly located in the most beautiful setting with only a 10 minute walk to the mountains. Ideal for a family or group of friends it had everything you could need and was very cosily furnished with great big sofas and comfortable beds. An outdoor seating area was great fun for nights in the mountains under the stars and the private swimming pool was also a very welcome treat. All in all I'd certainly give it ten out of ten!

Our stay in Samoens was made all the more enjoyable by our excellent accommodation. The apartment was well-appointed, clean, spacious and even had the bonus of a decorated Christmas tree during our December stay! The on-site pool provided wonderful family entertainment. All facilities were within walking distance including the charming old village; the recreation and cross-country skiing area, the ice skating rink, the Carrefour supermarket and the ski hire shop and ski lift. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday apartment.

We have always loved the mountains in the Winter and Summer and having had numerous successful holidays throughout the Alps we couldn't believe our luck when we found Samoëns. So much so, we bought an apartment!!!
The apartment was designed for an easy, relaxing holiday with added luxuries and it has not failed us. Our eldest daughter is an electric wheelchair user and her holiday is just as luxurious as all of ours, with the easy access of the complex, its contents and the numerous activities we can all do as a family.
We love it and we hope you love it too.
