La Maison Blanche - Samoens

Arriving at Chalet La Maison Blanche, you enter through the main entrance of the chalet into the first floor of the chalet. Before you is a wonderfully spacious open plan area consisting of living area, dining area and kitchen. To your right is a light and spacious contemporary style well equipped kitchen, ideal for catering for large groups, with an American style fridge freezer, double oven, double butler style sink, microwave, dishwasher. Light floods in through double sliding doors which lead out to the garden and hot tub. Located opposite the kitchen is the dining area with a beautiful rustic dining table. Beyond the dining area is the first of two spacious living areas. Sit back in one of the deep comfortable sofas, in front of the warm glow of the log burner, and enjoy the large TV.

A staircase takes you down to the ground floor of the chalet where you will find a games area and the second living area. In the spacious living area are two three seater sofas, sumptuous bean bags and a TV with DVD player and a selection of CDs and board games. There is an office space with a gamer chair, games console and games and even a sweet dispenser just like in a shopping mall! In the games area there are hours of fun to be had with a pool table, table football and a small fridge. This is truly a wonderfully spacious area to be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. On this floor there is a large double bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom while a laundry room can also be found on this level with a washing machine and separate dryer.

Bedroom one is located on the ground floor of the chalet and is a light and spacious family bedroom with king size bed and bunk beds. Light floods into this room through large French windows, while ample storage is provided by a rustic wooden chest of drawers and hanging rail. Located next to this bedroom is a family bathroom with bath and integrated shower, sink with vanity unit, towel radiator and WC.

Guests will find bedroom two on the first floor of the chalet, an ensuite bedroom with a luxurious king size bed. Good storage is found in a large chest of drawers. The ensuite bathroom offers a large shower, vanity unit with sink, and towel radiator. A separate WC is located next door.

Moving up to the second floor, we find the remaining bedrooms. Bedrooms three and four combine with a spacious ensuite bathroom to create a unique family bedroom. Light fills the room through French windows which lead out onto a private balcony offering lovely views to surrounding mountains. Bedroom three is very spacious with a luxurious king size bed, sumptuous sofa and vanity unit while the adjoining bedroom four has bunk beds. Ample storage is provided by a large rustic wood chest of drawers and hanging rail. In the modern ensuite bathroom is a large shower, sink, towel radiator and WC. Bedroom five is a split level room with a double bedroom and good built-in storage and hanging space on the lower level. A spiral staircase leads to bedroom six on the upper level which is a cosy twin nestled in the eaves (limited head height, no power sockets, only ideal for kids). Bedroom seven is a light and spacious ensuite double bedroom with great storage provided by a chest of drawers and hanging rail. In the bathroom is a bath with integrated shower, sink, towel radiator and WC. A fantastic family bathroom can be found on the second floor with a large luxurious corner bath with integrated shower, vanity unit with sink, and a towel radiator. A separate WC is located next to the bathroom.

Whilst the chalet has 16 beds, it is strongly recommended, that for your comfort, the mezzanine and two bunk beds are really only suitable for children.

The chalet has its own private garden with terraced area and outdoor furniture, including table and chairs, Adirondack chairs with furs and blankets and loungers for the sun worshipers. A bubbly hot tub offers a great place to relax after a fun filled day in the mountains and offers fantastic views towards the dramatic cliffs of the Criou mountain. A large heated ski locker is available for storing ski equipment and bikes while an exterior water tap and hose provide bike washing facilities. There is private off street parking for up to three cars.
