Maison Deux Coeurs and Chalet Petit Coeur combine to offer 7 bedrooms over an impressive 230m2 of charming and comfortable living for larger groups. Together they feature local alpine décor and rustic features such as exposed wooden beams, mixed with high quality furnishings and fittings.
The properties boast an ideal location just 350m from Samoens village centre, and 50m from the closest ski bus stop. Enjoy extensive outdoor space with two separate lawned areas, a large sunny terrace with hot tub (available year round) and Jet Stream Infinity Pool (summer only), and several scenic balconies in both chalets.
These two properties, a 5 bedroom unit and a 2 bedroom unit, are located directly adjacent offering fantastic flexibility for families or larger groups looking for a degree of independence. For smaller groups, Maison Deux Coeurs and Chalet Petit Coeur can also be booked independently.
These properties are privately owned and have been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. They have a Saturday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.
Description
On the ground floor of Maison Deux Coeurs there is a large and superbly equipped kitchen, with an adjacent dining area. The kitchen comes complete with an electric double range oven, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, 2 fondue sets, large teppanyaki hot plate/raclette, coffee/espresso machine and microwave.
The lounge area of the main chalet is equipped with plenty of comfy seating, including deep leather reclining sofas at one end and a separate sofa area at the other end away from the TV. The log burner provides a cosy atmosphere in the main living area. There are great home entertainment options at Maison Deux Coeurs, with a DVD player and selection of DVD's, satellite TV, IPod dock, Play Station 3 with games and free Wi-Fi. The property benefits from boot dryers in the entrance area, while the basement contains a washing machine and dryer.
Entering Chalet Petit Cœur, you step into an impressive open plan space full of character comprising of the living area, dining area and kitchen. The focal point in the living area is a cosy log burner, while opposite, a large corner sofa boasts remotely operated footrests adding a touch of luxury and ideal for post ski relaxation! A TV with satellite receiver provides entertainment, while a high quality Sonos speaker and Wi-Fi are also available.
The impressively spacious kitchen combines rustic wood and granite work surfaces to great effect and comes fully equipped with highlights including an electric fan over, dishwasher, and microwave. It has been thoughtfully configured to provide excellent storage and work surface area. A combined washing machine and dryer is also available in the kitchen.
The dining area is located in front of large sliding glass doors which lead to the terrace and gardens, while also delivering a light and airy feel to the whole ground floor of the chalet. A wooden dining table can comfortably seat 6 guests, while a charming light hanging overhead made using vintage skis reminds you of your alpine surroundings!
Within both the chalet units, the owners have ensured that guests can enjoy plenty of charm and a home from home experience. With thoughtfully equipped and quality furnished rooms throughout, these properties are a fabulous choice for guests who wish to relax in comfort and space during their stay.

The properties combined offer 7 stylish bedrooms, featuring high quality linen and soft furnishings, charming decor, plus big comfortable beds! There are a total of 6 bathrooms, ensuring excellent facilities for a number of families or large groups.
Maison Deux Coeurs hosts the first 5 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is on the entrance level and is a spacious king size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring shower, sink and WC. A further bathroom is available on this level, again with shower, sink and WC. Moving up to the first floor which features three bedrooms - two king size doubles which can also be configured as twins, and both feature a balcony. The third bedroom on this level has a set of full-sized bunk beds. A family bathroom is available on this level, boasting a bath, shower, sink and WC. An additional WC can be found on this level. Stairs lead to the bedroom 5 in the chalet eves, which can be configured as a king or twin, and offers lovely alpine views from the balcony. This bedroom is accessed via a mezzanine room with 2 single beds. Bedroom 5 is ensuite with a shower, sink and WC.
The final two bedroom are located in Chalet Petit Coeur. Bedroom 6, the huge ensuite master bedroom, occupies the entire upper floor of the chalet. Featuring exposed wooden beams, it offers great views over the gardens from a private balcony. The spacious ensuite bathroom features a large bath with integrated shower, sink with LED lit anti-fogging mirror and WC. Ample storage space is offered by a chest of drawers and hanging space. A Sonos speaker and huge super king size bed add a splash of luxury.
Bedroom 7 is located on the lower level of the chalet, a bright a spacious room, which offers wonderful views over open farmland towards the towering peaks above Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval. The room offers two single beds but can be arranged as a super king bed on request. Storage is provided by a wooden wardrobe and chest of drawers. This bedroom has access to a family bathroom, also on the lower level, complete with a large shower, sink with LED lit anti-fogging mirror, and WC.
The living area is equipped with a sofa bed sleeping 2 guests.
A cot and high chair can be provided on request.
Exterior
A sunny raised terrace to the front of the properties surrounds the hot tub (available year round) and Jet Stream Infinity Pool (summer only). To the side and rear of the chalets are two separate lawned areas which can be enjoyed throughout all seasons, and boast wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.
The master bedroom of Chalet Petit Coeur boasts a private balcony which offers views from the gardens, to the wooded slopes rising above Samoens village.
A car port provides covered parking for 2 cars, while further off street parking for several cars is available.

Location
Maison Deux Coeurs & Chalet Petit Coeur are superbly located in Samoens and are an ideal holiday destination no matter the time of year. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, they are only 350m from the centre of Samoëns and its many shops, bars, restaurants, beautiful gardens, and medieval square, which features a stunning church, ancient buildings and of course the bustling weekly market.
During the winter months the stop for the free ski bus is just 50m away, guaranteeing quick and easy access to the main Grand Massif Express lift and our impressive ski area. Another favourite winter activity is ice skating and the newly built 600m2 ice skating complex is little more than a 10-minute walk from the chalets.
In the summer months, guests can access a number of walking and biking trails almost immediately upon exiting the chalets. Attempt the impressive Criou peak, overlooking Samoëns. Or take a gentle, 5-minute stroll along the nearby Clevieux river and find yourself on the banks of the Giffre river. The Grand Massif Express lift also operates throughout July and August, giving guests access to even more hiking and biking options.
No car is required at these chalets due to their convenient location, but if you do plan to drive be sure to take a trip to Sixt, just 10-minutes up the valley. Here, you can immerse yourself in the spectacular scenery of the Cirque du Fer a Cheval, a national park renowned for its numerous hikes and waterfalls.

Fantastic week in Samoëns made all the better for staying at Maison Deux Coeurs. Snow and pistes fabulous as ever along with the gorgeous town of Samoëns. After 15 years of skiing in Samoëns we know all it has to offer but our stay in this chalet was a first and we would say one of the very best. Perfect location for town and the lift, all home comforts provided and the space inside meant we could all come together in the evening or choose to find our own quiet space, which was perfect now the ‘children’ are older. Thank-you so much a perfect week.

We had a great week in the 18 person Deux Coeurs and Petit Coeur chalets. Both chalets are pleasant, easy to live in (ski locker, ski boot cupboard in Deux Cœurs, 2 lounge areas in Deux Cœurs, large cooker in Deux Cœurs) and of good quality. The chalets are very close to a shuttle bus stop, which provides access to both the GME and the Vercland lift. Very practical, even with ski boots on, it is very easy to get there. The centre of Samoens is less than 10 minutes away on foot, and you can find everything you need: bakery, butcher's shop, grocery shops, ski equipment rental. The owner and the couple who run the chalets are always available and responsive when we have questions. We recommend these two chalets.

We have recently returned from a fabulous week in Maison Deux Coeurs. We were spoilt by quiet slopes with great snow and brilliant sunshine. Maison Deux Coeurs impressed too - the kitchen is well stocked and the big table adjacent makes for a great cooking/eating space. We loved the hot-tub - after a busy day on the snow it was a real treat. Walking into town was easy. Samoens is a little gem and we hope that not too many people discover it.

Very nice chalet, very well equipped where we feel very comfortable (like at home). We spent 3 dream weeks: magnificent view from the chalet, swimming pool and hot tub very much appreciated in this period of heat wave, very well located (close to the shops). We were also very pleased with the little gift on arrival. I will not forget the kindness of the owner Mr Black, without forgetting Fiona and Lewis who, while being discreet, were always available, helpful and, precious for any information. Also, in this delicate period with the COVID-19, the sanitary protocol was very well applied. Samoens is also a very pretty town with a great programme of events throughout the summer; there is something for everyone! Finally, we found paradise at the chalet "Des deux cœurs" in Samoens!
